Uttarakhand NEET UG Counselling 2026 Schedule Out: Check Round 1 Registration Dates, Choice Filling & Allotment Result

Uttarakhand NEET UG Counselling 2026, Round 1 registration has started on August 13, 2026. The Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical Education University (HNBUMU) has initiated online counselling procedure for NEET UG 2026 qualified candidates who wish to join MBBS and BDS courses in Uttarakhand. Aspirants have been allowed to register themselves, pay required fees, fill in their choices and lock their choices during allotted period. The registration for Round 1 will continue till August 19, 2026.

Uttarakhand NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 1: Important Dates

According to the schedule provided by HNBUMU, it shows that candidates will get till 19th August to register themselves with providing their college and course preferences. The seat allotment result will be announced on 22nd August 2026, followed by admission or joining process.

Who Can Apply for Uttarakhand NEET UG Counselling 2026?

To become eligible for NEET UG Counselling 2026 process in Uttarakhand state organised by HNBUMU, applicant must clear NEET UG 2026 with required cut-off percentile by  NTA. The applicant must also have attained an age of 17 years before December 31, 2026 and should have completed Class 12 (10+2) or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as main subjects and with a minimum percentage (General/EWS 50%, SC/ST/OBC 40%). As far as 85% State Quota is concerned, applicant must also hold an Uttarakhand domicile certificate. However, non-domicile candidates can also apply but only for open category management and private medical & dental college seats.

How to Register for Uttarakhand NEET UG Counselling 2026?

Following is the procedure that candidates have to follow in order to complete registration process for Round 1 of Uttarakhand NEET UG counselling.

• Candidates must visit official website of HNBUMU at hnbumu.ac.in.

• Applicants will have to click on NEET UG 2026 counselling/registration link that can be found on official website.

• Students will have to register themselves by providing details such as NEET UG 2026 details and personal details.

• They will have to fill out application form by giving details of their education.

• They should upload relevant documents as per given format

• Aspirants will have to pay registration fees as per given notice

• After paying necessary fee, they will have to mention college and streams of interest.

• Before submitting all details, candidates must verify all details and lock them. 

• Candidates must take a printout of filled application form and proof of payment received.

Note: Registration alone may not be sufficient for participation in seat allotment. Also, they should ensure that all required steps, including choice filling and locking, are completed within stipulated timeline.

What Happens After Uttarakhand NEET UG Counselling Round 1 Registration?

The processing of candidate information and conducting of Round 1 seat allotment will take place after closing of registration and choice-filling period. Different factors will be taken into consideration in allocation of seats, such as NEET UG 2026 merit score obtained by candidate, preferences and reservation criteria. The outcome of Round 1 will be declared on August 22, 2026. Students who have been allotted seats should follow guidelines provided by HNBUMU or finish admission process on time.
