The Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET), Uttar Pradesh, has postponed the registration deadline for UP NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 1, giving respite to applicants who could not complete procedure before. According to new schedule, interested candidates can now register online between 11:00 PM on 13th August and 2:00 PM on 14th August 2026. The deadline for payment of counselling fee and security amount has been similarly postponed to 5:00 PM on 14th August 2026. Applicants qualifying NEET UG 2026 and fulfilling counselling eligibility criteria in Uttar Pradesh can apply for same through official website. While registering, candidates will have to provide their NEET roll number, personal data and other relevant details with payment of counselling fee and security amount. The counselling process is currently underway for admission to state-quota MBBS and BDS seats available in Government medical colleges, Government dental colleges, Private medical colleges, Private dental colleges and participating universities of Uttar Pradesh. Once the registration process is complete, DMET will release state merit list and only those candidates who qualify will be permitted to apply for choice filling and seat allocation.
