NTA NEET UG 2026: Registrations Open Now; Check Details Here
The National Testing Agency has officially released NEET UG 2026 notification, and the application process has now begun. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website. NEET UG continues to be the only entrance examination in India for admission to undergraduate medical and allied health science courses.
The NEET UG examination is one of the largest competitive exams in India. It has seen an increase of more than 20 lakh enrolments for the previous two years; and therefore, it is extremely important that everyone looking to participate must do so within the prescribed timeframes set by the NTA. All fees for applying for the exam must also be paid on or before the date specified by the NTA.
NEET UG 2026: Important Application Dates
Candidates need to complete the registration process within the prescribed timeline. Fee payment and form submission deadlines are strictly enforced by NTA.
NEET UG 2026 Exam Schedule
The NEET (UG) 2026 examination will be conducted in offline mode (pen and paper).
Details regarding city intimation slips, admit cards, answer keys, and results will be announced later on nta.ac.in and neet.nta.nic.in.

Payment can be made via Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
Aadhaar eKYC Made Mandatory
One of the major changes introduced in NEET UG 2026 is the mandatory Aadhaar eKYC verification. Candidates must link their Aadhaar details during registration.
Additionally:
A live photograph must be captured at the time of application.
The live image will be cross-verified with the Aadhaar photograph.
These steps aim to prevent impersonation and enhance exam security.
Revised Exam City Allocation Policy
NTA has made changes to the process of selecting exam cities for testing. You will be given an exam centre based on your permanent and/or current (present) address.

This change is designed to ensure that you are treated fairly, and to eliminate the inconsistencies in exam centre placements.

Applications must be submitted online only via neet.nta.nic.in
Only one application per candidate is allowed
Required documents to upload:
Recent passport-size photograph
Scanned signature
Address proof
Email ID and mobile number is required to be associated with the candidate or parents/guardians
All official communication from NTA will be sent only through the registered contact details
Failure to follow instructions mentioned in the Information Bulletin may lead to summary disqualification.
