NEET UG Registration: Last Date Extended Till 11th March 2026, Check the Application Process Here

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the registration dates for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test NEET (UG) 2026 till 11th March 2026. Candidates seeking admission to the medical programmes at the top-notch government and private universities across India can fill out the application forms till 9:00 pm and pay the form fees till 11:50 pm. Candidates can check the application forms for the NEET UG 2026 on the official website of the NTA, and candidates are advised to fill out the application forms within the deadline, as the board will not extend the dates for registration further. NEET UG 2026 Important Dates

The registration process for the NEET UG 2026 started on 8th February 2026, and the last date for completing the registration process is 8th March 2026. However, providing the opportunity to fill out the application forms has extended the dates for completing the registration, which are given below. 

How to Complete NEET UG 2026 Registration? 

Before filling out the application forms for the NEET UG 2026, candidates need to be careful and fill in all the details accurately. Also, to avoid any kind of mistake, candidates can also follow the steps provided below to complete the application form. 

Step 1: Visit the official website of NTA, i.e., https://neet.nta.nic.in/. 

Step 2: Now, in the latest news section on the homepage, click on Registration for “NEET(UG) – 2026”. 

Step 3: After that, new users need to click on 'New Registration'.

Step 4: Fill out all the details, like name, address, category and communication address.

Step 5: Create a password and submit. 

Step 6: After completing the registration process, start filling out the application forms. 

Step 7: Complete the application forms and attach a live photo as well as all the required documents. 

Step 8: Now, pay the registration fee and submit the application forms. 

Step 9: Download and save the confirmation page. 

NEET UG 2026 Application Fees

For filling out the application forms, candidates are required to pay the application form fees, which will be non-refundable. The application form fee is different for all the categories as well, as is provided in the table given below. 

NEET UG 2026 Registration: Documents Required

Candidates who are completing the registration for the NEET UG 2026 need to keep all the required documents ready with them. The list of the documents required for the NEET UG 2026 registration is provided below. 

• Candidate’s Passport-size photograph

• Postcard-size photograph

• Left- and right-hand finger and thumb impressions

• Candidate’s Signature

• Category Certificate (if required)

• Class 10 Marksheet or equivalent 

• Valid Identity Proof

• Address Proof (Present and Permanent)

• PwBD Certificate

• Citizenship certificate (for NRI/OCI/Foreign citizen candidates)

NEET UG 2026 Correction Windows

Candidates who make any mistake in the application forms for the NEET UG can rectify the mistakes once the NTA opens the correction windows. The correction windows for the NEET UG 2026 application forms will open on 10th March 2026, and the last date for making the corrections will be 12th March 2026. Also, only registered candidates can make the corrections in their application forms.
