NEET UG 2026 Successfully Conducted Across 180 Andhra Centres
NEET UG exam 2026, which was organized by National Testing Agency was held successfully in Andhra Pradesh on Sunday amid strict security measures and proper arrangements at all centers. A total number of candidates, which is close to 75,000 around 58,000 appeared in exam. It is stated by authorities that no incident took place during exam course. All centers were working effectively under proper supervision and exam was conducted at 180 centers in 28 cities.
NTA guidelines were strictly followed throughout process, including the dressing code for candidates. The no entry after deadline principle was strictly adhered to and candidates could not be allowed into examination halls beyond given time. Earrings, nose rings, chains and related items could not be allowed in centres. At the district level examinations were carried out in NTR district at 32 centres. A total of 11,345 candidates sat for examination out of 11,496 registered candidates, giving an attendance rate of 98.69 percent. In Krishna district 742 candidates sat for examination out of 763 registered candidates in two centres.

Dress Code Dispute and Exam Updates from Ongole
As per reports, a student applying for NEET UG 2026 test encountered problems on Sunday at a test center close to Durga Temple in Eluru city when he was refused entry owing to a breach of mandatory dress code norms laid down by authority. The regulations were being strictly followed during mandatory pre-test check conducted by authorities when student was disallowed entry at main gate. It is understood that student tried to appeal to authorities requesting permission to write exam, but authorities refused and cited instructions not to make any exceptions while following regulations. In Ongole district, NEET exam 2026 was successfully conducted at six centres. Around 1,728 candidates who applied, 1,681 were able to appear for test. District Collector, Mr. P. Raja Babu, visits the testing centers such as Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya and Kendriya Vidyalaya to study testing arrangement, security and facility.
