The National Testing Agency (NTA) started the NEET UG 2026 application process on 8 February 2026. The last date to apply is 8 March 2026. As per the official notice, the NEET exam 2026 will take place on 3 May 2026. The exam will be held in pen-and-paper mode. It will be conducted only one shift. 5 Mistakes to Avoid While Filling NEET UG 2026 Application Form
To complete your form successfully, avoid these common errors:
Wrong Personal Information - Ensure that your name, date of birth, name and category of parents are exactly the same as the Class 10 certificate and the Aadhaar card. Even minor spelling mistakes may cause future problems.
Wrong Photo or Signature Upload - As per the NTA instructions Upload your photograph and signature carefully Before uploading check the size format and background.
Payment Not Completed Properly - Do not refresh or close the page in the process of making the payment. Wait until you see the confirmation of the payment and save the confirmation page.
Choosing the Wrong Category - Select your category carefully such as General, OBC, SC, ST or EWS.
Applying at the Last Moment - Do not wait for the last date. Submit your form at least 2-3 days before the deadline to avoid technical or server problems.
