NEET UG 2026 Registration: Application Forms Available Soon; Check Details
The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to start the NEET UG 2026 registration process soon on its official website. The NEET 2026 examination, which is expected to take place on 3 May 2026 (Tentative), requires candidates to update their important documents, such as UDID card/Adhar card/ category certificate, before filling out the application form.
However, the NEET Exam will be held in an offline mode for the MBBS/BDS, B.V.Sc., and AYUSH courses for the private and government colleges across India, with a total number of 180 questions which divide as 45 questions in physics, 45 questions in chemistry and 90 questions in biology to be asked during the examination having 4 marks of each question.
How to Register for NEET Exam?
As the registration form will be released soon on the official website for the NEET 2026, Candidates are advised to check the steps given below for the registration process
Step 1: Visit the official website https://neet.nta.nic.in/.
Step 2: Click on the New registration link. After reading all the important instructions, proceed
Step 3: Fill the personal details such as the application number and password.
Step 4: Log in using the credentials to fill in personal, academic, and exam city preference information.
Step 5: Upload the required documents and pay the application fee.
Step 6: Submit the form and take a printout of the form.
Documents Required During the Application Form Process
Applicants will need to upload and provide key information, which is as follows:
Personal details such as name, date of birth, etc.
Contact information, such as mobile number and email ID
category information
Date of birth and parental details
State of eligibility and Security pin ( which will be displayed on the screen during the time of application process)
Eligibility & Courses in NEET Exam
To be eligible for NEET UG 2026, candidates must have completed or be appearing in the Class 12 (or equivalent) examination with a minimum qualifying criteria. The exam qualifies candidates for admission to courses including MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BSMS, BUMS, BHMS, and allied medical programs across India. For the general category, a candidate is required to have a minimum of 50% marks, while for the reserved categories, such as SC, ST, and OBC candidate require a minimum aggregate of 40% qualifying marks.
