NEET UG 2026 Re-Exam Update: NTA Introduces Portal to Fact-Check and Report Fake Claims

As an important step to protect future doctors from any fraud or disinformation on social media platforms, NTA has announced setting up of an online portal. Through this portal, validity of any claim made with regard to coming NEET UG 2026 re-test can be verified. Since NEET UG 2026 re-test is scheduled to take place on June 21, 2026, this step by National Testing Agency will help keep things transparent and honest between them and students

What is the New NTA Fact-Check & Reporting Portal?

This newly introduced online portal is a safe, exclusive digital platform designed by NTA in association with MyGov India. It works as an authentic medium through which any candidate, parent or educational institution can report suspicious activities or misinformation on social media or any fraudulent operation. Recently, various unauthenticated notifications, false changes to test pattern and misleading statements regarding "leaked question papers" or "advance access" have been floating on social messaging apps such as Telegram and WhatsApp.

What Types of Fake Claims Can Students Report?

NTA has clearly instructed that people must report such malpractices through this portal. In case anyone comes across following malpractices, they should file a complaint:

• Fake Paper Leaks: Any social media account, VIP account or group trying to sell or leak question paper for June 21 retest.

• Guaranteed Rank & Seats: Anyone who demands any amount of money for guaranteeing selection process, score in high marks or admission through NEET mode.

• Impersonation & Fake Circulars: Those who pretend to be authentic members from NTA and distribute counterfeit circulars regarding changes in NEET pattern or marking scheme.

• Wrong Answer Keys: Web links offering “authentic” answer keys even before completion of test.

Step-by-Step Guide: How to Report Fake Claims on NTA Portal

In case students encounter a scam or an unverified piece of information, adhere to following guidelines to submit a formal report:

• Go to the website.

• Write a precise description of what happened or what information you received.

• State how they got information through following platform (Telegram link, WhatsApp contact or we page address). 

• Provide proof by taking screenshots in form of PDFs or other documents wherever required

• It will aid NTA in filing a case against culprits.
