NEET UG 2026 Re-Exam Answer Key Live: Objection Window Closes June 28
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced provisional answer key for NEET UG 2026 re-exam. Students who appeared for exam conducted on 21 June 2026, can now check answer key and question papers on official websites. Candidates who are not satisfied with any answer can submit their objections online. The facility to challenge answer key will be available from 25 June 2026 to 28 June 2026, until 11:50 PM. For every challenged question, students need to pay a fee of ₹200. They must also attach proper documents or proof to support their objections. The submitted challenges will be reviewed by subject experts and fee will be returned if objection is accepted. Students can access answer keys for all four sets of re-exam through official NTA portal at https://nta.ac.in/. Candidates should complete objection process withi given timeline.

Candidates can challenge provisional answer key only through official online portal. Challenges submitted through email, post, fax or any other method will not be accepted.
Important Guidelines Before Raising an Objection
Candidates should keep following points in mind before submitting their challenge:
Raise objections only for questions available in their own Question Paper Series Code.
The series code is printed on cover page of their question booklet.
Students do not need to submit same objection for other paper sets.
If an objection is accepted, correction will be applied to all candidates, regardless of their question paper set.
The challenge fee must be paid for every question students wish to challenge.
How Will the NTA Review Challenges?
After the challenge window closes, all objections will be checked by subject experts. If an expert finds a challenge correct. The NTA will not send individual responses regarding whether a particular challenge has been accepted or rejected. Instead, revised final answer key will be published on official website after review is complete.
Provisional answer key will be updated.
The revised answer key will be used for evaluating all candidates.
Final NEET UG 2026 result will be based on updated answer key.
OMR Response Sheets Will Be Released Later
The scanned OMR response sheets are not available at this stage because scanning process is still in progress. Once the scanning is completed, NTA will separately allow candidates to view their individual OMR response sheets. Candidates will receive another opportunity to check their recorded responses before final result is announced.

Applicants can follow these simple steps to submit their objections:
Visit official NEET website.
Open the "Answer Key Challenge for Re NEET UG 2026 Examination" section.
Log in using their application number and password.
Select question(s) they want to challenge.
Upload valid supporting documents, such as references from NCERT books or other standard textbooks.
Pay required challenge fee.
Check all details and then submit their objection.

Since candidates cannot edit their objections after final submission, they should carefully check all details before making payment. The answer key challenge fee is ₹200 per question.
Final Answer Key
After reviewing all valid objections, NTA will release final answer key on its official website. This final version will be used to prepare NEET UG 2026 result. Once the final answer key is published, no further objections or complaints regarding answer key will be accepted.
