NEET UG 2026 Last Date to Apply Today: Here’s How to Register?
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the registration process for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate) – NEET UG 2026 today, March 11, 2026. Candidates who appear for the medical entrance examination must complete their application before the deadline. According to NTA, the registration link will remain active only until 11:50 PM today on the official website.
As per the official announcement stated by the National Test Agency, NEET UG 2026 will be conducted on May 3, 2026. However, the exam will be held in a one-shift only, which is from 2 PM to 5 PM, across the various examination centres in India. The NEET UG Question paper will consist of 180 questions carrying a total of 720 marks. The examination will take place through three main subjects, which are Physics, chemistry and Biology. The subject-wise distribution of questions is as Physics consist with 45 questions, Chemistry with 45 questions, and Biology consist of 90 questions, which include Botany and Zoology.
NEET UG 2026: Languages and Application Fee Details
The NEET UG 2026 exam will be held in 13 languages. These include Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, and Farsi. Candidates can select their preferred language while filling out the application form. However, the application fee for the NEET UG 2026 may vary depending on the category of the candidate. The application fee must be paid online during the form submission. As a candidate belonging to the General category has to pay a fee of INR 1700, a candidate from the General - EWS and OBC- NCL category has to pay a fee of INR 1600, and a candidate belonging to the SC, ST, PWBD and Third Gender category has to pay an application fee of INR 1000. As candidates are advised to complete the payment before the last date, to ensure that their application is successfully submitted.

Step 1: Visit the official website of the neet.nta.nic.in
Step 2: Click on the NEET Registration Link, which is available on the homepage.
Step 3: Enter the required details such as registration number and password.
Step 4: Log in to the candidate portal using the generated credentials.
Step 5: Fill out the application form and upload the necessary documents.
Step 6: Pay the minimum application fee based on the category as mentioned above.
Step 7: Submit the application form and download the receipt for future reference.
Students who have not yet completed their registration are advised to do so as soon as possible to avoid last-minute technical issues or website traffic.
