The correction window for the online application form for the NEET UG 2026 exam will be closed by the National Testing Agency (NTA) tomorrow on the 14th March 2026. The candidates who have successfully submitted their application for the exam are requested to utilize the correction window. It is available on the official website for the candidates to correct the errors that occurred during the submission of the online application form. This is a one-time opportunity for the candidates, and the correction window will not be extended by the NTA for any candidate. It is requested that the candidates verify their application forms and make the necessary corrections at the earliest to avoid any complications during the later stages of the admission procedure.

NOTE

  • If correction impacts the fee, an additional fee will be charged.

  • Corrections are applicable only after payment of the additional fee (if any).

  • Only one-time correction is allowed. Once submitted, the candidates will not be able to edit the form.

Steps to Make Corrections in NEET UG 2026 Application Form

Follow the simple steps below before the window closes tomorrow:

  • Step 1: Visit the official website - https://neet.nta.nic.in/ 

  • Step 2: Click on the link "NEET UG 2026 Application Form Correction"

  • Step 3: Enter the Application Number and the Password in the fields.

  • Step 4: The filled application form will be displayed on the screen. Carefully read all the details

  • Step 5: Make the necessary corrections in the fields provided

  • Step 6: If necessary, upload the photo and signature and Pay the fee, if required. 

  • Step 7: Submit the form and download the final confirmation page.

Students should not hurry while filling out the form and make avoidable mistakes. The common mistakes that should be avoided while filling out the form are:

  • Incorrect spelling of name- The name should be spelled correctly as mentioned in your Class 10 marksheet

  • Incorrect category selected- Incorrect category selection may impact your reservation benefits

  • Old or blurred photo- A recent passport-sized photo with a plain white background should be uploaded

  • Incorrect choice of cities- Choose a city from which one can easily travel for the exam day

  • Incorrect mobile number and email- The National Testing Agency sends all important updates via these so make sure that email and phone number are active.
