The NEET 2026 Exam pattern will be declared by National Testing Agency (NTA) which defines overall structure of examination. National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) consists of three subjects such as Physics, Chemistry and Biology. As per the official guidelines the test is conducted in offline mode using a pen and paper format. Students who are preparing for NEET must have a clear understanding of exam pattern is essential as it helps them plan their preparation. Based on previous year’s pattern, question paper included a total of 180 necessary questions with 45 questions each from Physics and Chemistry and 90 questions from Biology. Candidates were given a total duration of 3 hours to complete the exam. NEET UG Marking Scheme 2026 allows aspirants plan their exam strategy. Each question carries 4 marks with full marks awarded for a correct answer while 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong response. Candidates must carry only a blue or black ballpoint pen to mark their answers. If more than 1 mark is made for a question it will be considered wrong and negative marking will apply so careful and accurate answering is essential.
