NEET 2026 Question Paper Leak Alleged After Coaching Guess Paper Goes Viral
A big controversy erupted over NEET 2026 examination after a guess paper was found to contain many of questions asked during actual examination. The controversy arose in Sikar district of Rajasthan, where the material in question is currently under investigation to determine whether it was a case of paper leak. Special Operations Group (SOG) of Rajasthan police force launched an investigation into NEET exam held on 3rd May 2026. Based on early information, it has been discovered that an MBBS student from Kerala sent a questionnaire to one of his friends in Sikar on 1st May 2026. It was then extensively distributed via WhatsApp groups, coaching centers, postgraduate hostels and career counseling agencies. According to investigators, 140-150 questions out of 300 in circulated questionnaire were the same as those asked in NEET 2026 examination. Reports have also revealed that questions worth 600 marks out of total 720 had similarities with leaked material.

Controversy: NEET 2026 got into controversy owing to leakage of “guess paper,” which seemed identical to real test questions.

Similarities: There are said to be around 140-150 similar questions in leaked and real NEET papers.

Detention: It is reported that several people have been interrogated over this issue.
NTA’s Stand: So far, there is no confirmed report of any paper leak by NTA.
Security: According to the organization, proper security had been observed during exam.
Present Position: Any official declaration regarding retest or cancellation has not come out yet.
NEET 2026 Paper Leak Controversy: What Is the Allegation?
NEET UG exam for 2026 year has been surrounded by some controversy since some rumors have appeared that some of questions which were asked in real exam had similarities with questions that had appeared in a “guess paper” previously. It has been seen that after these rumors emerged on web, discussions regarding issue of paper leak soon began among students and parents on various social media platforms. It has been noted that till now, National Testing Agency (NTA) has not yet verified or confirmed any leak of paper.
NTA Responds to NEET 2026 Leak Allegations
National Testing Agency issued an official statement on Sunday concerning irregularities related to NEET UG 2026 examination after Rajasthan SOG initiated its probe. According to agency’s statement posted on X post, examination conducted on May 3 took place following stringent security protocols at all exam centers. As per statement by agency, question paper was transported in GPS-enabled vehicles equipped with watermark tags. Moreover, as mentioned by NTA, AI-driven CCTV surveillance of exam centers was done from a central control room. Apart from this, biometric authentication of students and use of 5G jammers were also adopted to keep exam safe. According to NTA, it was informed about some inputs on May 7 about malpractice in exam. As per agency, information was then handed over to central authorities on 8th May 2026.
