NEET 2024 Re-examination Notification has been Released. Details Regarding the Test Date and Admission Card are here.



Supreme Court directed for NEET UG re-examinations and NTA has issued a notification on a re-examination for 1,563 students slated for June 23, 2024, with findings due by June 30, 2024. NEET re-examination will only be administered to candidates who received "grace marks." 

NEET UG 2024was held for over 24 lakh applicants at 4,750 centers in 571 locations (including 14 international cities) and results were announced on June 4th.

According to NTA's official statement, a senior Committee was formed to evaluate the subject of compensatory/grace marks after the student’s expressed concerns. Later, students filed many pleas in court, prompting NEET UG and the High-Powered authorities to give recommendations/reports, which NTA followed.

According to the Supreme Court's order, NTA has decided to reschedule the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate) [NEET (UG)] - 2024 for 1563 candidates who experienced time loss during the originally scheduled examination on May 5, 2024, and were awarded compensatory marks," according to the official notice.

NEET Re-Exam Schedule 

  •   Exam Name: NEET (UG) - 2024 re-examination.
  •   Date: June 23, 2024 (Sunday).
  •   Exam time: 2 to 5:20 p.m.
  •   The tentative date of the result is June 30, 2024.

NEET Re-Exam Admit Cards

Following the announcement, NTA will issue admit cards and new scorecards will be posted on the website: https://nta.ac.in/

Furthermore, Re-examination is Valid only in Following Cases:

The scorecards provided to all 1,563 impacted candidates on June 4, 2024, will be revoked and removed. The impacted applicants will get their real scores, without compensation, via their registered email addresses. 1,563 applicants will be re-examined.

Those who opt not to take the re-examination will have their results announced based on the real marks they received in the May 5, 2024 exam, with no compensation. Candidates who want to retake the exam will have their new scores taken into account, but their results from the May 5, 2024 exam will be ignored.
