NBEMS Forms 3-Member Committee Over FMGE June 2026 Protest: Results Will Not Be Revised

A three-member committee has been formed by National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) to address grievances of candidates who took part in FMGE June 2026 examination. The decision has been taken following a protest held by foreign medical graduates in New Delhi, who stated that question paper was too tough and that examination centers lacked proper infrastructure. How Will NBEMS Investigate FMGE June 2026 Candidates' Complaints?

Apart from appointing three-member panel, NBEMS has also undertaken an exhaustive examination of issues highlighted by candidates for FMGE 2026. This exercise would involve collaboration with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), which is technology partner for conduct of examination. Analysis of video footage from examination centers, reports generated by test centers, complaints lodged by candidates and detection of operational failures in conduct of exam are some of key areas NBEMS would examine in its review.

Why are FMGE June 2026 Candidates Protesting?

Foreign medical graduates organized a protest on 10th July 2026 outside NBEMS office and at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi. Issues raised by candidates include:

• Difficult Question Paper: It was reported that FMGE June 2026 test paper was much harder than in previous years.

• Shortage of Testing Centers: Several candidates complained about shortage of testing centers with basic amenities.
