NBEMS Extends FMGE 2026 Document Submission Deadline to January 7th 2026
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences will conduct Foreign Medical Graduate Examination on 17th January 2026. NBEMS for submission of deficient documents required for verification by candidates. As per the official release, candidates can now upload their documents until 7th January 2026 at 11:55 PM. Earlier, the last date for document submission was 2nd January 2026. According to the official notification, certain deficiencies were found by NBEMS during verification of applicants' eligibility for FMGE exam 2026. These deficiencies have been communicated to the candidates via email. Such deficiencies can be in form of lack or inadequacy of Primary Medical Qualification Provisional Pass Certificate duly attested. It is also possible that some candidates fail to produce certain documents such as eligibility certificate, admission letter, NEET UG etc. There could also be deficiencies such as lack of valid proof of student's nationality. There are also certain mismatches regarding name or date of birth in documents produced.

FMGE 2025 Exam Pattern and Qualifying Criteria
FMGE/NExT is computer-based and comprises one paper with 300 multiple choice questions. Students need to choose correct option from among four possible options provided by the question. Participants have to score at least 150 out of a total of 300 marks to pass the exam.
