Mizoram NEET UG Counselling Reservation Policy for medical colleges comprises two categories. Initially, 15% of seats will be filled across country under All India Quota system. The remaining 85% of seats fall under State Quota, which is exclusively meant for residents only. In this segment too, a significant percentage of seats are meant for ST category candidates along with certain quotas for EWS, SC and OBC.

Directorate of Higher & Technical Education (DHTE) will release different cutoffs for different reservation categories in state quota counselling. Based on previous trends, the NEET UG cutoff marks for general category and EWS category are expected to lie between 450 and 500+, whereas cutoff for OBC category is expected between 430 and 470+. Government Medical Colleges in Mizoram
Zoram Medical College is only government institute providing medical education in state of Mizoram. This government college was started in 2018 and is playing a vital part in training future doctors in state. Zoram Medical College has an intake capacity of 100 MBBS students per annum and is also an affiliate college of University of Mizoram. It is totally managed by state government with aid of various central schemes and has become a centre of healthcare over period of time.
Registration & Counselling Fee Structure
The registration and counselling fee for Mizoram NEET UG (conducted for 85% State Quota seats primarily at Zoram Medical College, Falkawn) varies depending on applicant's category. General (Unreserved) and OBC candidates need to pay a non-refundable registration fee of ₹1,400. Whereas students who belong to SC, ST and eligible PwD categories usually get some discounts and in this case, registration fee stands at ₹750.
