Students who are applying for admission under process of Manipur NEET UG Counselling 2026 need to meet eligibility criteria specified by DHS Government of Manipur. Government Medical Colleges in Mizoram

Medical colleges organised by government in Mizoram offer affordable MBBS courses and great medical training through NEET UG counselling in AIQ quota as well as in State Quota. At present, there is only one medical college in Mizoram known as Zoram Medical College, located at Falkawn in Aizawl. It is affiliated to Mizoram University and is accredited by National Medical Commission. The college conducts an MBBS course in 100 seats with a teaching hospital attached to it where students can gain clinical and practical experience.

Private Medical Colleges in Mizoram

As of 2026, Mizoram doesn't have any private medical colleges approved by Medical Council of India to provide MBBS courses. Students willing to get into private MBBS colleges will need to attend counselling for NEET UG conducted by MCC or other states' counselling body for private colleges situated out of Mizoram. The medical education in Mizoram is mainly provided by government institutes especially Zoram Medical College, Aizawl. Aspirants for private medical colleges must keep themselves informed about announcements made by DME, Mizoram, MCC and NMC.
