Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has begun online application process for Karnataka NEET UG Counselling 2026. Students aspiring to get admission into MBBS, BDS and AYUSH courses in government, private, minority and deemed institutions in state of Karnataka can apply online. Students who want to register can visit website cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. As per KEA notification, date of commencement of application was July 17, 2026, and last date for completing application was July 24, 2026, up to 11:00 AM.

Candidates need to keep a close watch on calendar because failure to do so can result in them missing out on their seat allocation rounds. Here is the list of important dates for initial stage of state quota admissions:

Important KEA Clarification for CET-2026 Registered Candidates

The following is latest structure of registration announced by KEA:

Fresh Registration Candidates: This particular registration period is for those candidates who have not applied for UGCET-2026 before.
Existing Candidates: Those students who have already submitted an application form and applied for CET-2026 don’t need to apply again. KEA will release a special portal link soon, which will allow them to just log in and link their NEET UG 2026 roll number with their existing account.

Important Note: If any candidate misses this particular deadline, then he/she cannot get registered in counselling process in Round 1, Round 2 and Mop-up rounds. Fresh registrations will be opened much later for Stray Vacancy rounds.

KEA NEET UG Registration Fee 2026

The mandatory application fee varies by candidate category and must be submitted online before July 24 cutoff:

How to Register for Karnataka NEET UG Counselling 2026?

Eligible candidates can use this process for registration:

Access Portal: Launch any web browser and access official KEA website.
Find link: Browse through ‘Flash News’ or ‘Admissions’ sections and click on ‘UGNEET-2026 New Registration’ option.
Fill Details: Fill in personal information including contact number, valid email address and NEET UG 2026 Roll Number.
Upload Documents: Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature and thumb impression of left hand. Applicants not belonging to Karnataka are supposed to upload scanned copy of their marks card in PDF format from Marks Entry Portal.
Pay Fee: Make payment transaction online using net banking, UPI or debit/credit cards according to your category.
Submit: Verify all data entered by you and submit it after taking a printout.

Verification Guidelines for Non-Karnataka and Quota Candidates

Candidates from outside Karnataka who are registering will not have to attend offline document verification process personally if they can upload their Class 12 scores online. OCI, PIO, NRI and foreign students, as well as those applying for reservation through a particular religious minority quota or St. John's Medical College quota, will have to fix a time slot and attend document verification process at KEA, Bengaluru.
